2013 ELITE 8 COMBINE LETTER OF APOLOGY

Coaches and Players,

​

Over the last 10 years, my staff and I have worked hard to develop a product in the combines we run that provide a professionally managed competition environment. This year, in an effort to streamline and improve this process, we stepped out on a limb using new software and procedures to compile stats and identify winners. Unfortunately, that endeavor proved less efficient than that which we’ve come to rely on over the years. When all was said and done, to our disappointment, as I am sure it was to yours, this resulted in a significant delay at the end of the combine Saturday awaiting results.

I would like to extend a sincere apology, and offer you my word that this will not happen again. I appreciate the distance many of you traveled to be a part of our annual event and will see to it that we conclude presentations in a timely manner in the future. I have reviewed the results by hand and will send trophies out to all those who were not recognized, or had to leave before presentations were made.  Thank you for attending the Elite Eight Combine and we hope to see you next year.
